Gr8er Good Games is Hiring

Job Posting: Actor/Station Manager

Gr8er Good Games, a social-good scavenger hunt company, is hiring for actor plants on a part-time, as needed basis.

What the company does:

Gr8er Good Games works with companies to host scavenger hunts with volunteering stations. Our goal is to help companies build great teams through engaging them in volunteering, in social good and in their community through fun, simple interactions.

What the job entails:

As an actor plant, you will be given a specific location and instructions on what to do when a participant interacts with you. This could be as simple as handing them a puzzle or a slip of paper when they approach you and tell you a secret code-word, or as complicated as giving a speech or hosting a social good station. Hosting a social good station involves greeting the participants, telling them about the nonprofit or cause that we are working with, giving them instructions on what to do, helping participants complete the tasks and tracking the impact of the tasks. Examples of these tasks include making sandwiches for the homeless, making hero capes for children in hospitals, clipping and handing out free flowers, etc.

This is a contract position, on a part-time, as needed basis. Salary DOE.

Qualifications:

Must have customer service, event production, acting, and/or nonprofit experience

Must enjoy interacting with a wide range of people and performing in front of crowds

Must be able to follow a script, but also improvise during an interaction

Must be able to problem-solve under pressure

Must have flexible daytime availability, including weekends. Events will be planned with at least one week’s advanced warning. Current planned dates are: 5/11 and 6/6.

Must be available in the San Francisco Bay Area

Must be friendly, enthusiastic and willing to learn
